Making some butterfly wings 🦋

As you have probably noticed, things have kept a little quiet over here. That's because I am using this time to regroup and to make sure our concept makes sense for the community and most of all, for myself. 

Moving back home from NC, and subsequently going through more big changes with my career, business, and friends, has taken a toll on me. If you didn't understand what was going on with my latest communications, long story short is we had to drop and leave our old location before we even got to move in. It wasn't compliant with the county in order for us to open safely, and there's nothing else we could do at that point.

We had put a hefty deposit in, and had to work very hard to get it back. We also lost a big investment in materials for both upstairs and downstairs flooring that we're still paying for, plus all other inventory and signs now sitting in storage. A bummer to say the least. But luckily we were able to return some other things to HD for a refund, so there's always a silver lining.

It's easy to understand that this has been quite difficult to navigate, even more so after putting so much effort and heart in.

I believe good things take time, so I have to get back to cooking.

The Wave Room will most likely shift and transform into something more manageable for myself. It might not be a room just yet. But all I ask is some time to figure it all out and come back stronger. After all, it's hard to get you excited about something that right now hurts a little to think about.

But the time will pass anyway. So we march on :,)
